Audri Kate King was born December 19, 2007 to Brandon and Janae King in Chickasha, OK. Audri loves playing with her 4 year old sister, Brooke, and is very excited about the upcoming birth of her baby sister in July of 2010.Audri was complaining of back pain and was taken to the emergency room on Easter Sunday. After being taken to Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, a scan revealed several tumors. She was diagnosed with embryonic rhabdomyosarcoma cancer on April 15, 2010.
With this cancer being so aggressive, treatment will be as well. Audri started her first of many chemotherapy treatments on April 16, 2010. She will have multiple treatments over the next year, several requiring 5 day stays in the hospital.
